Caption/Description
Community Tree Planting at Cook Reserve Ruse, Campelltown, May 2019.
3,000 native trees, shrubs and grasses were planted into the ground at Cook Reserve in Ruse to strengthen key koala corridor between the vast Georges River wildlife corridor and Smiths Creek.
This planting event is a first step in a larger, landscape-scale project to support healthy habitat for the local koala population.
This project is in partnership with Greening Australia and the Campbelltown Council.
